I have been dreaming of dairy sheep for close to a year. I had wanted to get mini cows but the ever wise husband talked me into something a bit smaller yet. In researching dairy sheep I found that in blind tastings, people selected it over cow or goat milk. We have coyotes and other predators in the area so we needed to decide whether we wanted to go with Livestock Guardian Dogs (LGDs) or a barn. We went with the latter as I would also need a milking stand somewhere enclosed from wind and rain.
This May (2020) we decided to move forward even though the coronavirus was causing shut downs in many areas. Our team was professional and quick. I love our new barn and our neighbors do as well!
